The Post-Gazette reports that Walnut Capital is in “very preliminary” discussions with the Carnegie Science Center about redeveloping the parking lot adjacent to the football stadium to include residential units.
The Shadyside developer has been working with the science center to help determine the best possible use for the site, and a residential component is one possibility being discussed.
If the plan takes hold, it would represent the third major residential development in the works on the North Shore in the vicinity of Heinz Field and PNC Park.
