A man has been arrested after allegedly assaulting a Dollar Tree employee and robbing the store.
Police say 43-year-old Kwon Lester entered the store on Penn Avenue, hit the clerk in the back of the neck while he was helping a customer and stole cash from the register.
Officers were told he left the area in a stolen white van that was later spotted in traffic.
Lester tried to run but was eventually taken into custody. He's facing multiple charges.
