The SWAT team had to be called to a home in Pittsburgh's Sheraden neighborhood after an armed man threatened a woman inside.
According to police, the man, who was armed, had forcibly taken the woman inside their home during a domestic dispute shortly after 3:30am Tuesday morning.

The woman and a baby were in a locked room away from the man. SWAT was able to get both the woman and child out of the home safely.
The man later surrendered and was taken into custody without incident.
Police say charges are pending.
