PITTSBURGH (Newsradio KDKA) - As hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians flee their home country, some are choosing to stay and fight for it.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, vowed to continue his fight and called on Ukrainians to keep up the resistance.
"Watching their bravery has just inspired every American," U.S. Congressman Mike Doyle said during the KDKA Radio Morning Show Thursday. "Look at Ukraine and compare that to Afghanistan, where the leader of Afghanistan ran with his money out of the country, and the soldiers of that country just laid their weapons down and said we're not fighting for this country."
