Pittsburgh is still feeling the effects of Winter Storm Landon as the snow continues to fall, but ice was a major concern on trees and power lines throughout the night and into Friday morning.

Duquesne Light continues to restore power to customers throughout the area. Roughly 3,600 customers have had their power come back, due to the diligent work of the crews in the field. More than 12,000 were without service at the peak of the winter storm.

As of 2:58 p.m., around 8,400 customers are still without power, mainly in Washington County.

Duquesne Light crews are going to work around the clock to restore electricity to customers and expect the power to be fully-restored by 1 p.m.
Saturday.
