Building on the success of their first "Survival Kit" subscription, several Pittsburgh area business are bringing it back.
East End Brewing, Prohibition Pastries, Commonplace Coffee, Barmy Soda Co. and Black Radish have launched a three-week subscription that will feature beers, breads and pastries, coffee beans, soda's and dinner foods.
Each week, subscribers get a new box filled with items from the retailers.
"The model of weekly box subscription - Survival Kits filled with baked goods, craft beer, fresh roasted coffee beans, soda pop, and take-and-bake dinners have gotten rave reviews from our current subscribers… "We listened to the feedback, shortened the subscription blocks to 3 weeks, and are hoping for an even bigger response this time around!" says Eliza Bowman of Prohibition Pastries.
"Without a doubt, this Survival Kit partnership brings a camaraderie between businesses that will help us all survive this pandemic together," said Scott Smith of East End Brewing.
The "Survival Kits" are available to purchase online beginning Tuesday.
