PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) – The National Weather Service of Pittsburgh has issued a Flash Flood Warning for the northern Pittsburgh area and east Ohio Wednesday night into early Thursday.
The rain will continue into Wednesday, but the flooding conditions will continue, especially for points along the Youghiogheny, Monongahela, Cheat, and Conemaugh.
A River Flood Advisory is also in effect for the Point in Pittsburgh.
The NWS reminds residents that if they come across flooding on roads, do not drive through the flooded roadway. Turn your car around and away from the water.
