Co-owner of Monte Cello's restaurants Joe Wadlow says he's been lucky his customers have been so understanding over the past few years while they navigate difficulties due to the pandemic.

The latest challenge is potentially losing deliver drivers due to record-breaking gas prices.

Wadlow tells KDKA Radio it doesn't look like relief is coming anytime soon.

“Not until the end of Summer, maybe. It sounds like it’s going to go up and they are talking about the possibility of $6.00 a gallon in the next 2-to-3 months. I don’t see any relief in the near future.”

To help his drivers, Wadlow is considering raising the delivery fee by a dollar to help offset the gas prices.
