A summer favorite may be a bit harder to come by this summer.
Things weren't so peachy at the orchards this past spring. Locally, Soergels farm manager Adam Voll says peaches are having a down year.
"My one orchard in particular were probably 40% at best."
He says their supply took a hit because of a spring that fluctuated between unseasonably warm and unseasonably cold temperatures.
"Certain peaches, blocks of trees in low-lying areas where it got the coldest are actually seeing a lot less peaches on the trees."
It's happening even in other regions. Supply is expected to be down out of the Southeast after a freeze through the area in March.
