A former Allegheny County Council candidate has been arrested.

Eric Casteel allegedly threatened members of the Plum Borough GOP Committee.

The criminal complaint says Casteel pulled a gun in the incident involving three members of committee Thursday night.

Police were told Casteel got angry and walked out of the meeting.

Outside, Catseel reportedly threatened to shoot the committee members.

He is facing terroristic threats, simple assault and reckless endangerment charges.

He unsuccessfully ran against Democrat Michelle Naccarati-Chapkis in November 2021.
