A former Butler school board member is accused of sexual assault.
Police say 58-year-old William Halle had a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old girl, that girl was someone police say Halle employed and counseled at his nonprofit.
Court records showed that concerned citizens called police after Halle and the victim were seen on a street curb being intimate on the evening of April 27.
A police investigation allegedly revealed explicit text messages between Halle and the victim.
Charges against Halle include sexual assault by an employee of a nonprofit association, corruption of minors, criminal use of a communication facility and criminal solicitation.
