Four fires in the Pittsburgh area since Sunday morning.
The number of blazes typically increases when temperatures drop below freezing and this winter is no exception.
The coroner was called to a home in Beaver County last night.
Flames broke out after 10 p.m. inside a house in the 100 block of Woodland Road in Chippewa Township. Other details were not immediately available.
Fire consumed the second floor of a home overnight in Homestead.
The blaze was reported around 1:30 a.m.
in the 300 block of East 13th Avenue and the flames spread to a home next door, damaging the siding.
The roof collapsed where the fire started, and no one was inside at the time. One person was inside the neighboring home and got out safely.

The flames damaged three vacant buildings, turning one to a pile of ash and charred debris. A vehicle was also torched and no one was injured.
