County Council considering putting sheriff’s deputies back in charge of hospital security for inmates, another school bomb threat and top headlines for Wednesday.
The third bomb threat in the last week was sent to Freedom Area High School's principal Wednesday morning.
The school district's website says Freedom Area high school students would stay at the middle school while police sweep the high school building.
The threat was received by the high school principal. Students will be moved back to the high school after the sweep is completed.
High school students were evacuated to the football field on Tuesday after the second threat was received.
All three threats have been sent to principal Steve Mott over the past week.
Classes at the elementary and middle schools were not disrupted, but some restrictions were put in place while canine officers swept the hallways.
