After a weekend of snow, rain and then snow again, frigid temperatures will be around this week.

A cold weather advisory is in effect from 10 p.m. Monday through 10 a.m. Tuesday in the higher elevations of Fayette and Westmoreland counties, as well as Armstrong, Butler and Indiana counties.

Real Feel temperatures of 10 to 15 below zero are expected there.

In the Pittsburgh area, wind chills will be in the single digits overnight.

National Weather Service meteorologist Matt Brudy tells The Big K Morning Show we probably won’t get above freezing until late into the weekend.

If you’re looking for a silver lining, the wind is expected to die down throughout the day Monday.

High temperatures through Thursday will struggle to get out of the low 20s, with lows in the teens.

An inch or two of snow could fall on Wednesday.
