A wanted fugitive is in custody after a SWAT incident in Carnegie Tuesday morning.
Allegheny County Police say a 911 medical call in the 300 block of Knox was made around 4:30 a.m.
Police arrived and knowing a fugitive may stay at the residence, they asked if he was inside. After officers were told he was they set up a perimeter.
The unidentified suspect then left the residence but soon went back inside.
SWAT was then called and the suspect left the residence and surrendered peacefully after gas as used.
Carnegie Police then took the suspect to the Allegheny County Jail.
