As we kick off the new year we begin with an act of kindness and a couple of characters. Just as the temperatures were dropping the week before Christmas, Get Marty friend Carlos McClintock and his team at Greater Pitt Tree Service were bundled up and delivering a gift for a World War II veteran.
Watch the video on this page to see what they were up to and meet Dominico Carchidi.

At age 96, Dominico is still very active, and he even tends to a rather large garden that's currently sprouting with fresh garlic. The problem he needed help with is the large tree outside his home. Limbs had already come down once and ripped the power lines down that run to his home. That damage has been repaired but now Dominico needs help to make sure it doesn't happen again.

After a few hours of bone chilling work in the cold and drizzle, they were able to get that tree down and make sure Dominico's power lines are in the clear.
This isn't the first time Carlos and his team from Greater Pitt Tree Service have stepped up for World War II veterans. In addition to helping Dominico, they just did three other jobs like it. It's kind of their niche. They make it a habit of doing free work for WW2 vets and it's amazing stuff that we're proud to witness.
