The search is on for a new home for Wendi Kraemer's animal sanctuary after an overnight fire destroyed her place in Rostraver Township early Friday morning.
She lost a dozen cats in the fire but was able to escape the flames with 20 more cats and 12 dogs. In the video on this page, you'll see my interview with Wendi talking about what happened, and how the fire transformed her normally blonde hair.

While Wendi works to find a more permanent place to relocate her animal rescue, local people and business owners are stepping up to help. As soon as my friend Norm Candelore heard about Wendi's situation, he immediately offered to help with his business, Candelore's Barking Beauties.
He sent a crew over to pickup six of the now homeless cats. Norm's team is now housing and taking care of those cats while they look for new homes.

There's a lot of heavy lifting to do to help Wendi and the pets from Angels Journey Home Animal Rescue. Here's how you can help.
