As we're hopefully nearing the end of the coronavirus pandemic, we're also coming out of the biggest unemployment period since the Great Depression.
There are literally thousands of jobs out there and some of the most critical are not being filled. The items we buy in grocery stores, clothing stores, auto parts, and pretty much anywhere else has to be delivered from somewhere but there's a massive shortage of truck drivers delivering those goods.
Companies like Pittsburgh-based PITT OHIO are literally competing with each other to pay larger salaries for people to drive big rigs and even smaller trucks to make sure those deliveries happen. It's driving the pay scales higher than ever. If you're thinking you have to have a college degree to make upwards of $70k to $100k per year, you're way wrong.
