Get Marty Special: LeoGreta – May

Get Marty Eats: LeoGreta

About the restaurant
LeoGreta is about good food, friends, and family, which is why this space in Carnegie is the perfect spot. After owning his own restaurant in New Jersey and moving home to be with his dad who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in the 90’s, Chef Greg Alauzen worked in some of the best restaurants in Pittsburgh, but they were not his.

Three friendship between three boys who met at Washington Elementary School in Bridgeville, PA, Greg Alauzen, Lenny Klemencic, and Chris Exler.  would soon change that. Lenny owned the building and knew it could be the perfect spot for Greg to open a restaurant. Once Greg was on board, Chris helped build it out. Now, LeoGreta is the place for friends and family to come together, enjoy their time, and eat a DELICIOUS meal!

What charity are you supporting and why?
LeoGreta is supporting the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation. Chef Greg Alauzen lost both his father, Leon Alauzen, and culinary mentor, Ivo Fatigati to the disease. LeoGreta would not be what it is today without the influence of these two men.

Get Marty Special: $1 from every special benefits charity
As our Get Marty Special, LeoGreta is offering the fan favorite, Cavatelli & Sausage. Hand rolled, cavatelli with house recipe hot sausage (Not too hot, just enough spice!), rapini, and pecorino.
