A GoFundMe has been started by Mark’s siblings to help pay for his care and hopefully long but full recovery.

“You can trust that Mark’s siblings will ensure these funds are used wisely to get our fighter brother back on track! - we love him so much as we know many of you do too! Above all, please pray everyday that he can hurdle each obstacle - we know he can do this!” the GoFundMe states.

Police continue to search for the driver of a black car behind the hit-and-run.
