His estranged wife, Laurie Snell, has been sole custody of their three children.
Parnell has partial custody on a certain number of weekends.
Snell alleged Parnell physically abused her and her children, Parnell denied hitting anyone in his family.
The former Army Ranger is seeking the Republican nomination for Pat Toomey's open Senate seat in 2022.
