Less than two weeks until Pennsylvania's primary election, five Republican candidates for U.S. Senate took the stage last night at Grove City College.

With the leaked documents indicating the possible end of Roe Vs Wade earlier this week, abortion was the leading topic Wednesday evening.

Republican candidates David McCormick and Kathy Barnette took shots at Dr. Mehmet Oz claiming he has flip flopped on the topic but Oz said he is pro-life.

“As a heart surgeon, I’ve operated on small children, a few days old, and witnessed the majesty of their hearts pounding blood, even though it’s ill, because I’m operating on them through those bodies. I would never think of harming that child or even nine months earlier, because life starts at conception.”

All five candidates on stage, including Carla Sands and Jeff Bartos all support the overturning of Roe V. Wade.

The candidates spent a lot of time attacking each other last night at Grove City College, with front runners Dr. Oz and McCormick taking the brunt of the attacks for being from outside of Pennsylvania and their alleged dealings with China.

Bartos spent much of his time going after who he believes will be the Democratic candidate.

“John Fetterman knows this state. He knows this state because he spent the pandemic taking a bulldozer to main street Pennsylvania. We cannot trust this seat to out-of-staters who moved here a mere months ago,” Bartos said.

Bartos said after the debate on KDKA Radio that he can beat Fetterman 100 times out of 100 because of the current Lt. Governors support of the shutdowns.

The Pennsylvania Primary is May 17.
