Pittsburgh Police were called to Beltzhoover for a reported hit and run incident.
When first responders arrived, they found a man with facial injuries lying in the street.

Officials say he was conscious and alert, but didn't tell them whad happened.
It was while he was being taken to a local hospital that medics found that he had been shot in the leg. The man was in stable condition when he arrived at the hospital.
Police continue to investigate.
