We're learning more about a stabbing downtown Thursday night.
Pittsburgh Police say it was racially motivated.
According to court documents, a white male, who refused to give his name to police, stabbed two Black males near Sixth Avenue and Smithfield Street around 11 p.m.
One man was tabbed in the arm, he was taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition.
A second man, stabbed in the leg, was transported in stable condition.
According to a criminal complaint, the man, identified as John Doe, was kicking at officers, breaking one's watch.
The man admitted that the stabbing was "racially motivated."
He's charged with five counts of aggravated assault, two counts of ethnic intimidation, criminal mischief, public drunkenness and more.
Police are requesting that Doe stay in Allegheny County Jail as they believe he is a danger to the public.
