PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Pittsburgh Police are investigating a shooting that took place in Homewood, leaving one dead and two wounded.
Police were alerted by a ShotSpotter alert of multiple gunshots on the 71000 block of Franklin Avenue Wednesday night shortly before 9:30 pm.
One man was found dead at the scene.
Another victim was found several blocks away on Mohler Street. He had a gunshot wound in his lower body.
A third victim was found at the Giant Eagle in Penn Hills. He too had a gunshot would in the lower body.
The second and third victims were both taken to an area hospital in stable condition.
Detectives from the Violent Crime Unit are investigating. No arrests have been made at this time.
