PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) Allegheny County Police have opened an investigation after a woman was shot early Saturday morning in West Mifflin.
Shortly after 2:00 a.m., police responded and found evidence of a shooting at the Speedway gas station on the 4300 block of Kennywood Blvd.
When West Mifflin police arrived, they learned that a 32-year-old female was taken to a hospital by means of personal vehicle.
The victim sustained a single gunshot wound to the chest and is expected to survive.
The Allegheny County Police Homicide Unit has begun an investigation.
