A jury clears Pennsylvania State Police in the civil rights case against Jordan Brown.

After deliberating for part of Wednesday and Thursday, a federal jury issued a verdict finding that four state troopers who led the investigation did not violate Jordan Brown's constitutional rights when they charged him with killing Kenzie Houck.

The civil trial centered around Brown’s conviction for the murder, which the Pennsylvania Supreme Court overturned after more than nine years of being held in detention.

The lawsuit alleged that Jordan Brown was prosecuted with malice and without probable cause, and was based on fabricated evidence.

Alec Wright, the attorney representing Browns said it’s time to take a pause and figure out what’s next.

The attorney representing the troopers, Brendan O'Malley says they're pleased with the verdict but this was not a time to celebrate.
