Pennsylvania Lieutenant Governor John Fetterman is signaling that he should be back on the campaign trail soon.
The Democratic nominee in Pennsylvania's U-S Senate race has been recovering from a stroke that he suffered a few days before the May primary, a contest that he won.
Republican campaign groups have started to use Fetterman's absence from the trail as a talking point. But campaign spokesman Joe Calvello tells the Post-Gazette that Fetterman is "feeling really well" and will be "on the campaign trail soon".
He says Fetterman is about "90 percent back to full strength and getting better."
Fetterman's wife Gisele note's that he can't wait to get back on the campaign and that he could return this month possibly.
