Several pharmacies in the Pittsburgh region are closing next month.
Mainline Pharmacy is shutting down 9 of its 11 locations in March because payments for drugs from pharmacy benefit managers are unprofitable.
Mainline's Facebook page says the pharmacies lost more than $350,000 so far this year, making continued operation of the nine stores unsustainable.
The affected locations are in Harrison City, Ebensburg, Hastings, Portage, Davidsville, Altoona, Blairsville, Cresson and Nanty Glo.
The stores will close between March 4 and March 13.
Mainline customers information is being passed on to the nearest Rite Aid location.
Rite Aid has closed several locations in the Pittsburgh area after it filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
