
KDKA Radio’s Lynne Hayes-Freeland has signed off for the final time.

Hayes-Freeland, who started her broadcast career with KDKA Radio as a producer for the “Roy Fox Show” wrapped up her “Lynne Hayes-Freeland Show” on Friday.
While her daily show is ending, Hayes-Freeland will remain a presence at KDKA Radio.
Beginning next year, she will join Marty Griffin for an hour to give her thoughts on the news of the day.
She will also continue to host “Minority Health Matters” on Saturday’s at noon on KDKA Radio.
Hayes-Freeland also recently retired from KDKA-TV after 40 years of reporting, producing and hosting the “Lynne Hayes-Freeland Show.”
“I thank you all, all those who supported me, I thank you and those who didn’t I thank you too, because with all of you, we keep the conversation going,” said Hayes-Freeland signing off.
“I want to thank you,” said Audacy Pittsburgh Sr. Vice President and Market Manager Michael Spacciapolli. “You’re an icon and there’s not a lot of icons in the city and your one of them.”
The main motivation for Hayes-Freeland stepping back, is so that she can spend more time with her children and grandchildren.
We thank her for a great three years of shows, guests and fun and look forward to continuing to work with her into the future.
