
A Duquesne man wanted for the sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl has been arrested.

Allegheny County Sheriff Kevin Kraus’ office announced Monday that 21-year-old Cameron Salmon, who has been on the run since August 2021 when his bond was revoked in a separate case about a firearm.
During that time and his arrested, Salmon has been also charged with aggrieved assault by a Duquesne Police and by Allegheny Police of using the internet to lure the girl into a basement inside a residence in Swissvale.
The victim told police she was assaulted sexually by Salmon in front of her 13-year-old friend.
Over the weekend, detectives got information that Salmon was in Wilmerding in a home on Morningside Avenue.
Salmon attempted to escape out of a second-story window but was stopped by a police dog.
He was taken into custody a short time later without incident.
