Charges have been filed against a Pittsburgh man in connection with several thefts and burglaries in the area.
Allegheny County Police say 37-year-old Shawn Jackson is responsible for multiple incidents in Crafton, Pleasant Hills, Scott Township and Upper St. Clair.
Police say a laundromat on Crennel Street in Crafton was broken into on June 3.
They say Jackson cut the power to the building after entering the building around 3 a.m.
He broke into multiple kiosks and stole and unknown amount of money.
A week later, County Police release surveillances images of the suspect and through a tip were able to identify him as Jackson.
Through the investigation, detectives were able to learn that Jackson attempted a burglary at a laundromat in the 100 block of Curry Hollow Road in Pleasant Hills and a burglary at a laundromat in the 1900 block of Painters Run Road in Scott Twp. And a car wash on the 1700 block of Painters Run Road in Upper St. Clair.
All incidents occurred on June 3.
Jackson faces multiple felony charges and is currently in the Allegheny County Jail.
