A man was arrested after allegedly shooting at a postal worker in Perry North Thursday.
Pittsburgh Police say they were called to the 200 block of Waldorf St. around 2 p.m. for reports of shots fired.
When they arrived on scene, officers say multiple witnesses reported someone shot at a postal worker from a blue sedan. The postal worker was not hurt, and told police the suspect fired at least three shots. Police say one home was damaged.
Police determined the suspect was driving a blue Subaru Legacy. The car was later found in the 3900 block of Oakdale St. Security footage nearby allegedly showed the suspect leaving the car carrying a gun and running into the woods.
Officers later found 28-year-old Martinel Humphries, who they say matched the description of the man in the security footage. He was arrested and charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault, discharging a firearm into an occupied structure, recklessly endangering another person, firearms violations, and providing false identification to law enforcement.
Police say they also recovered the AK47 from the scene.
