A young man was critically wounded in a shooting in Beechview Thursday evening.
It happened near the intersection of Broadway Ave. and Beechview Ave.
Pittsburgh Police say the victim was in his 20's. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
A man surrendered to police on scene and was taken in for questioning. A gun was recovered from the scene.
T service was impacted while the scene was active.
An investigation continues.
