A man found guilty of shooting a state trooper last year near a convenience store will spent between 36 and a half and 73 years in prison.

A Beaver County jury found Damian Bradford guilty in on all counts, including attempted homicide, in the shooting of the trooper.

Bradford wounded the officer in an Aliquippa convenience store after troopers saw Bradford confronting people with a gun outside the Franklin Mini-Mart.

Bradford "violently struggled" with the officers before shooting Trooper Jonnie Schooley in the leg.

Bradford was released from prison in 2021 after he was found guilty in a murder-for hire case back in 2005 when he admitted to shooting Dr. Gulam Moona on the Ohio Turnpike.
Moona died as a result of the shooting.

Bradford told a jury Moona’s wife, Donna was having an affair with him at the time.

Mrs. Moona was sentenced to prison for life for her involvement in her husband’s death.
