PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) Late Friday night, Pittsburgh Police responded to a shotspotter alert for gunfire in the 2000 block of Centre Avenue.
When authorities arrived, they found a male victim in the middle of the street with a gunshot wound to the leg.
The man was shot at least once and officers applied tourniquet until EMS arrived.
He was taken to the hospital in critical but stable condition.
No arrests have been made and an investigation has been opened and is ongoing.
