Police officers received two ShotSpotter alerts from the Knoxville neighborhood in Pittsburgh.
They arrived shortly after 10:30 a.m. this morning to the 200 block of Wilbur Street, where multiple rounds were supposedly shot.
When they arrived on the scene, first responders found on adult man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to whom they aided until EMS services arrived.
The man was then taken by paramedics and labeled to be stable but in critical condition.
The victim was in the car at the time of the shooting with another person who took shelter in a nearby home. They sustained no injuries.
The Mobile Crime Unit processed the scene and VCU are investigating. No suspects have been arrested at this point in time.
