A man involved in a fatal Hazelwood shooting has been found guilty.

Allegheny County District Attorney Stephen Zappala announced that Quentin Primus was found guilty of first-degree murder of victim Darrian Davis and other charges on Tuesday.

Zappala’s office says David and two others were in a parked car on Johnston Avenue July 1, 2022 when Primus and another unidentified person drove by and opened fire.

16 shots were fired into the parked car, killing Davis.

Primus was also found guilty of attempted homicide, aggravated assault and four other charges.

“It’s extremely frustrating that we lost yet another member of our community to senseless violence; and another individual to life in a penitentiary,” said DA Zappala. “However, this verdict reinforces the fact that the ladies and gentlemen of law enforcement, and our citizens most affected by violence are prepared and most capable of holding those responsible for violence accountable for their actions.”
