The Sheriff's Office says it received numerous calls Wednesday from residents reporting the scam.
They say they got a call from a man who went by Lieutenant Scott Morrison, telling them there was a warrant for their arrest.
The Beaver County Sheriff says there is no one by that name working in their office.
If you receive one of these calls, report it to police, and never give out personal information.
