A man accused of impersonating a state agent at a beer store in Mt. Oliver was arrested Tuesday night after a standoff in North Fayette Township.
Police say Donald Blanchard told an employee at Brownsville Beer and Convenience he worked for the state, took away employees’ cell phones and demanded $10,000 threatening to put them in jail.
When officers tried to serve a warrant last night, they say Blanchard threatened to shoot them.
After 90 minutes of negotiations, he surrendered.
Blanchard is facing dozens of charges including terroristic threats and obstruction.
