PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) — Pittsburgh Police from Zone 1 and EMS responded to the 2800 block of New Beaver Avenue Sunday morning after reports of an explosion.
The explosion reportedly came around 11:15 a.m.
At the scene, first responders located a man that had been working inside a maintenance hole but had gotten caught in some sort of explosion.
The man was alert and conscious when dealing with EMS and officers and was sent to an area hospital in stable condition.
However, the male victim did take some burn damage to his face during the incident.
