A man has shot himself in the back of a police car in Center Township on Friday.
The current details on how the man was able to get a gun inside the vehicle is unknown and the identity of the man has yet to be released.
The Beaver County district attorney said that Center Township officers took a man into custody after serving a search warrant to a home on Geneva Drive. The man then fired the weapon while in custody.
The authorities have set up a perimeter along Broadhead Rd near Pleasant Drive for the investigation.
