Pittsburgh Mayor-elect Ed Gainey today announced the transition team members that will assist him as he prepares to take office in January.
Angel Gober, One Pennsylvania's Western Pennsylvania director, will chair the transition team.
Silas Russell, the vice president and political director of SEIU Healthcare Pennsylvania, will serve as co-chair.
The team will help Gainey decide staffing for his administration, form committees to develop policy recommendations and solicit public feedback.
