Allegheny County District Attorney Stephen Zappala has announced the closure of a bar in McKeesport.
Zappala says the Tube City Café on the 900 block of 5th Avenue was closed on Thursday.
This comes after a meeting with the owner and officials from the D.A.’s Nuisance Bar Task Force, McKeesport Police and the PA State Liquor Control Enforcement.
A man was fatally shot inside the bar last week.

Since 2023, police have responded to calls of firearms violations, aggravated assault, narcotics and wanted people at the bar.
“I’m appreciative that we were able to reach an agreement that puts the safety of people and first responders in McKeesport first,” said DA Zappala. “Thankfully, the Nuisance Bar Task Force and our law enforcement partners remain diligent in protecting our community from these dangers.”
