PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) Pittsburgh Regional Transit (PRT) announced that a four-month rehabilitation project will take place on the Monongahela Incline.
The project is expected to modernize the mechanical controls as well as upgrade the interiors of the stations.
The incline will be closed from August 1 to mid-November; shuttle buses are scheduled to run every 30 minutes for the duration of the project.
Additional trips will be added from PRT's 40- Mount Washington bus route, as well.
The project is going to cost upwards of $8.2 million.
