A Monroeville Police Supervisor wounded three times is seriously injured but expected to be okay.
The officer was shot responding to a robbery at Crumbl Cookies on the 4100 block of William Penn Highway just after 9:15 p.m.
The suspected fired several shots hitting the officer and his cruiser.
That officer was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
Just minutes later, a suspect was found in a parking lot on Stonecliffe drive. He was taken into custody without incident.
Allegheny County Police are also involved in the investigation.
