More details after Troy Hill incident ruled a homicide

A woman that was charged with simple assault after allegedly striking another woman in the chest on June 2 could be facing more serious charges.

73-year-old Patricia Kachinko died June 24 in the hospital from respiratory complications from blunt force trauma when she was hit by 43-year-old Krystal Slepski on Ley Street in Troy Hill.

Her death has now been ruled a homicide.

That means Slepski of Reserve Township could now be facing homicide charges.

Slepski remains in the Allegheny County Jail.
