Multiple shootings in Pittsburgh area kill two, leave two in critical condition

Multiple shootings took place around the greater Pittsburgh area this weekend. They left two victims in critical condition and two deceased. All victims of the 4 shootings were male adults.

The first occurred Friday night at 10:30 in New Kensington, shots were heard at the Kensington Arms Apartments.


Once police were at the scene, they found 31-year-old New Kensington resident James Michael Hayes dead in the parking lot.

Bullets from the shooting hit not only the victim but a nearby office and several parked cars. Police are investigating.

Another man was shot in the back Saturday night in Clairton.
Allegheny County police said officials were notified of a shooting on Wilson Avenue around 9:30.

First responders found the victim, who was shot in the back.
He was taken to a local hospital and is in critical condition.

A third man is also in critical condition after Pittsburgh police said he showed up at the hospital with gunshot wounds.

Police say officers responded to a local hospital after a man with gunshot wounds arrived by private means Sunday morning around 6:20 a.m.

Investigators believe the shooting is related to an earlier shot fired call in the area of Sterrett Avenue and Frankstown Avenue.

Police are also investigating a fatal shooting in Washington County.30-year-old Thomas Davis was found shot around 745 Friday night near Baird Avenue and Wilmington Street.

He was pronounced dead about an hour later at Washington Hospital.

Police have not identified any suspects for any of the four shootings as all the investigations are on going.
