It’s been years in the making but earlier this week a local Brewhouse that contains three separate breweries opened to the public.
The four-story, historic Hazelwood Brewhouse originally housed the Hazelwood Brewing Company in the early 1900s until prohibition closed the brewery over 100 years go.
The space spent decades dormant until 2019, when renovations began to reopen the historic building, thanks to The Progress Fund, a local nonprofit of developers and three breweries, New France Brewing, Abstract Realm Brewing and Bonafide Beer Co.
Well, after a long wait, you can now visit and enjoy a few pints.
Abstract Realm Brewing says on Instagram they will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 15.
New France Brewing will be open on Friday from 3 p.m. - 10 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. More information here.
For the latest on Bonafide Beer, visit their website.
Food is not yet available on site, but there are food trucks visiting and you can bring your own food.
Work is still being done in some area of the brewhouse so stay up-to-date through each brewery’s social media.
More information will be released on full opening hours and schedule next week.
