A popular PBS Kids program is coming to life at the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh.
A Wild Kratts interactive exhibit will kick off May 20.
The animated show features brother Chris and Martin Kratt and teaches kids about animals or “creatures” from all over the world.
The brothers learn about each animals’ unique abilities and their special suits allow them to simulate the creature’s abilities.
According to the Children’s Museum kids and their family will be able to “explore animal habitats from around the globe, discover incredible creature powers and go on a mission to foil the villains’ nefarious plans.”
The habitats will include a tropical rainforest, Antarctic, Australian Outback and “Your neighborhood”.
“This exhibit will get kids moving and thinking while they explore important concepts in science and the natural world,” said Chris Kratt, executive producer of Wild Kratts and co-founder of The Kratt Brothers Company.
Kids will get to experience what it’s like to use the stealth of a jaguar, swinging ability of spider monkeys, the hop of a kangaroo and more.
There will also be a special opening weekend with some live animals visiting from the Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium including a hedgehog, lizard and turtle.
That takes place on Saturday, May 20 from 12 – 2 p.m.
